There are various members of the Dermapak family to choose from and our people can advise which suit what purpose. There are six main models of specimen containers and then there is the Customised 2000 series which does what it says; you customise the model to have your company name and logo on it et cetera. The Type 3 is made entirely from a special grade matt black material folded to form the specimen containment area. This type is useful to help prevent sweating of the specimen, if it is to be kept for long periods for further laboratory specimen investigations.

The L/S Film is perfect for hair specimens as there is a treated clear plastic window allows a preliminary inspection of the sample before being opened. The window is anti static so the small specimens, be it hair or nail clippings, will not be affected by a static charge.

Laboratory specimens such as skin scrapings and hair specimens when being transported for analysis need to be kept secure so as not to allow the sample to be contaminated. The results of tests need to be accurate for obvious reasons and the only way to ensure complete sanitary is to use Dermapak envelopes and containers when taking samples outside of the lab.
